A short look at how a Vela Helper reminds, waits for an answer, and follows up.

Concept video created with AI.

How it works

  1. 1

Mount a screen in their room or bathroom

  2. 2

They say good morning, and it walks them through one step at a time, with photos of their own things

  3. 3

Help fades as they learn each step, so they feel capable, not managed.

Two versions, one helper

For kids 5 to 10

Pictures, few words, a cheerful voice, a brushing timer.

For teens and young adults

Respectful, never babyish, private between them and their helper.

Meet AIAM

The kitchen helper for parents

A shopping list that fills itself as things run low. Snacks you approve ahead of time, so the answer is already there. Reminders that follow up on their own, so Mom doesn't have to nag.

Hello. It is good to see you.

And for the grown-ups, the same AIAM runs the kitchen.

Our promise on privacy

  • It only knows what your family tells it.
  • No ads. We never sell your information.
  • No camera is ever used in the bathroom.
  • Teens' details stay between them and their helper.

For ABA clinics

Keep the routines your BCBA teaches going at home, between sessions.

We are looking for one Southwest Florida clinic for a free pilot with 5 of your families.

You see progress patterns, never recordings or photos.

Our story

I'm a mom, and our family is neurodivergent. My days are full, and for years I was the one holding every little thing in my head: what we're out of, who ate, who still needs a reminder, who forgot again.

So I started building help. First, a helper for our kitchen that keeps the shopping list, tells the kids which snacks they can have and where to find them, and gently follows up so I don't have to nag. My own copy is called Anita, after our robot vacuum.

Then my oldest son asked for one of his own, for his bathroom routine. He wanted guidance without it feeling like too much, and without his mom watching over his shoulder. So his helper goes one step at a time, with pictures of his own products, and gives less help as he learns. What happens there stays between him and his helper.

We named it Vela, a candle: a small light that brings help and good energy into the house. Every helper is tested in our own home first, in English and Spanish, before it reaches yours.

Vela Helper is made by a neurodivergent family, for busy parents of neurodivergent kids.
